We woke up to a downpour, which was great for sleeping, but not for racing. Thank goodness, by the end of the morning, the weather had cleared, and we were able to see a race!!
After the race, we returned to the campground and enjoyed a good dinner and visit with friends and family. The evening included story-telling, along with some singing and dancing by a few in the group! There were lots of hugs and well-wishes as we packed up and said goodbye. The plan is for an early morning departure as we continue west on our adventure.
