I DO - A Wild and Wonderful Wedding!

 Saturday, July 30, 2022

I do love a wedding and the wedding day is here!  We woke up to sunshine and beautiful weather!  The wedding is being held at Solitude Ranch, the home of the bride's father.  With the Tetons serving as a towering backdrop, it made it a stunning view as the couple exchanged their vows.

It was sunny, and hot, but the bride thought of everything--they passed out parasols water and lemonade to the guests as we arrived on shuttles from the various places we are staying.  Niece Catherine and her son Hudson looked pretty classy and were ready for the day.
The flower girls and ring bearers were adorable, all dressed up in matching outfits.  Here are a few of the special ones...Taylor, Ben, and Cora.

The ceremony was beautiful, as the couple exchanged their personal handwritten vows, followed by the more traditional vows and "I DO"!  They were showered with rose petals as they walked down the aisle as husband and wife.  There was a reception after the ceremony with drinks and yummy appetizers while the couple got some great photos, and made sure they included special shots with family and friends.  Here are the newlyweds, Mark & Brooke, with Mark's family (my sister Carol, who, by the way, was a stunning mother of the groom!)

In true western style, dinner was steak with plenty of wine and other liquid hydration!

The cake was beautiful (and good).
And then things got wild!  The band was fabulous and once they started, the dance floor flooded, and the action never stopped!  Conga lines, the worm, and every dance imaginable....

The evening ended with a sparkler send-off as everyone loaded the shuttles for the trip back home.

What a Wild and Wonderful Wedding!  Thankful for all of the family members there to share the special day.  We all left with full and happy hearts.

P.S. Also thankful for the liquid IV from the goodie box to help with recovery the following morning!
