On the Road Again!

We’re on our way to another big trip…this time “only” two weeks long, but should be quite an adventure.  We are headed to Churchill in Manitoba, Canada along the Hudson Bay to see the polar bear migration.

We have not yet reached the starting point of our journey, but we’re almost there.  We are in Rugby, North Dakota.  I found it very interesting that Rugby is the Geographical Center of North America!  That is amazing!  I had to get out the atlas to see how this could be; but when you look at North America, you can see there’s a whole bunch of land above the United States that we forget about!

And…that’s where we’re going!!

Here is a map of our route up to the Hudson Bay. We’re looking forward to meeting many of the group tomorrow in Dunseith, ND,  and the trip officially begins on Tuesday.   I’ll be posting when I can to “Lundcruiser Adventures”, but I understand that wi-fi and cellphone reception is spotty in this area of the country, so we’ll see….

PS.  We arrived at the campground in time to watch the end of the NASCAR race.  Chase almost got his win…proud of team #24 on another strong performance!
